In May 2002, an assembly of thirteen executive search and human capital consultant firms from around the world, gathered at Taplow, Berkshire near London Heathrow Airport, England, to formalize a new alliance. The purpose of the meeting was to establish a worldwide consortium of member firms, all of whom would meet or exceed the highest ethical standards in the industry. There were representatives from the United Kingdom, Europe, United States and the Far East.
