The Ma Foi Employment Survey (MEtS)
The Mafoi Employment Survey (MEtS) attempts to understand the employment activity in the country across 17 sectors. It measures the employers’ intentions to increase or decrease the number of employees in their workforce during the next quarter through the MEI (Ma Foi Employment Index).
MEtS (MaFoi Employment survey) is the first of its kind survey specifically for the Indian market, different in size and scope with data collected through an independent agency.
First of its Kind – MEtS is a pan India survey specifically addressing the
movements in the Indian employment market
Different – MEtS provides actual employment data in terms of net
increase
in employee numbers over current employee base across 17
sectors in the
organized labour market
Impartial & Authentic – MetS is conducted through an independent and
reputable market research agency to ensure authenticity and impartiality
both
in terms of selection of survey respondents and data collection.
Analytical – MEtS studies the actual movement in the employment market
and
its correlation with the macro economic trends
The MEtS is focused on aggregating employment trends and hence along with an analysis of the overall demand, it also offers an extensive range of sub-indices across industry segments, turnover, employee strength, region, state, and city. Alongside, the
MEtS also focuses on specific themes each quarter.
